(CI)1.277~3.434]、HDL-C(OR=3.106,95%CI 1.133~8.513)、apo A(OR=3.588,95%CI0.768~16.752)为AMD发病的危险因素。

Abstract:

Objective To investigate the correlation between peripheral blood lipid level and age-related macular degeneration(AMD). Methods A total of 84 AMD patients and 40 healthy subjects were enrolled, and their data of age,sex and disease history were collected. Serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),apolipoprotein A(apo A) and apolipoprotein B(apo B) were determined. The results were analyzed by univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results The levels of TC,TG,HDL-C and apo A in AMD group were higher than those in healthy control group(P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that TC [odds ratio (OR)=2.095,95% confidence interval(CI)1.277-3.434],HDL-C(OR=3.106,95%CI 1.133-8.513) and apo A(OR=3.588,95%CI 0.768-16.752)were risk factors for AMD. Conclusions The increasing levels of peripheral blood TC,HDL-C and apo A may be correlated with the incidence of AMD.
