Abstract: Objective To study the changes and its clinical significance of T lymphocyte subsets and natural killer(NK) cells in peripheral blood of patients with histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis(HNL).   Methods The percentages of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and NK cells of 51 HNL patients and 18 healthy controls were detected by flow cytometry(FCM). Results Compared with the healthy controls, the numbers of CD3+ cell,CD4+ cell,CD16+CD56+ cell and CD4+/CD8+ ratio decreased in HNL patients(P<0.05). After therapy,19 patients achieved complete remission, and 30 patients got improvement, and there was no statistical significance compared with healthy controls(P>0.05). Conclusions Cellular immune function is significantly abnormal in patients with HNL. The detections of T lymphocyte subsets and NK cells are clinically significant on the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy of HNL.
