In vitro interference of Honghua injection on 8 clinical biochemical assays

Abstract:

Objective To assess the in vitro interference of Honghua injection on clinical biochemical assays. Methods According to the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute（CLSI）EP7-A2,the interference of Honghua injection on alanine aminotransferase（ALT）,lactate dehydrogenase（LDH）,total protein（TP）,triglyceride（TG）,creatinine（Cr）,uric acid（UA）,glucose（Glu） and phosphorus（P） assays was determined through paired difference test and dosage effect experiments. Results The paired difference test showed that 40 mL/L Honghua injection had positive interference effect on TG and Glu and negative interference effect on Cr and UA,and there was no interference on ALT,LDH,TP and P. The dosage effect experiments showed that Honghua injection produced quadratic regression interference effect on TG and linear interference effect on Cr,UA and Glu. Conclusions Honghua injection has interference effect on some clinical biochemical assays.
